Thanks for recommending Tony of Sbmar and I have been in contact with him. He quoted the price for a 6CTA8.3-M300 at $39000. I think its a bit too high for a recon engine. I do not know what marine recon engines sells in the states, and I thought you might be in a better to position to advice me.
