I had looked at this boat about 14yrs ago before i bought the JC. Very nice boat. Looks as though the current owner has cleaned her up a bit....
I had a similar incident happen to me as well drifting the rips in montauk. This was on a 35ft JC. Same deal wave crashed on me and my friend...

I haven't met a motor that does NOT burn some oil. Some motors such as Detroits (an example) use more oil then others. I work on quite a few...

Is it me or does the bow this boat from a head on view have a little similarity to the Lang's hull
