Wonder if it's a spec boat or a customer who changed his mind and decided to sell? Can't imagine what a 1,200hp MAN would cost.

Powder... do you think all that power may be a waste on that type of hull? Just seems like a lot of hp for a boat with a low hull speed.
Unless they are trying to overcome the weight of all the "goodies" they put in.

One of the pictures shows the flying bridge before being attached to the bridge. Is that the roof of the house also or another roof layer to be laminated to the existing roof?
A lot of coin for a lot of boat. Sorry for the owner that decided to sell. Looks like a lot of love went into the process.

I don't think 1,200hp is a waste considering how big and heavy she is. I wouldn't consider the 43 a slow hull, although it's certainly not a speed boat like a Beal or NB. The ad says 38,000lbs, so I would say the 1,200hp is a good match.

The platform the bridge is sitting on looks like a mockup of the curvature of the hard top. That platform acts as the hard top temporarily so they get the correct curve on the fly bridge.

In the pic of the cockpit in the port locker looks like a good place to catch a few z's during the build.

I’m guessing that he’s turning a profit at that price and if it sells good if not even better. But I am certain not in the know.

We saw that boat at Farrins being finished last year. Some wood work on her. Would love to see what she does with 1200hp.

Do Lowell hulls in the 43' use lifting rails at all?

I stopped in at Farrins between Christmas and the New Year. The workmanship is amazing. Tons of man hours. I had a tour of this boat. The owner has added lots of goodies. Bruce showed me the work they were doing for window trim for the custom electric blinds. I am far from an expert but it looks like the owner left no stone unturned as far as equipment or options. This is amazing in person. I hope it sells. It is impressive.
