Definitely not impressed with those prices. I wouldn' shop there for any of that stuff. I can get epoxy for that price and mat that is 50" wide instead of his 38" for an even better price

    Is that a joke?

$125 a bucket for resin isn't bad at all. Sure it's going to be a little cheaper at someplace like a Merton's or LBI if you buy multiple buckets at a time, but $30/gallon for someone who walks in and needs a gallon beats the hell out of retail stores.

If you are buying epoxy for that $$ it's some real low end epoxy, likely the sort that has solvents in it. System III silvertip for instance doesn't get down under $80/mixed-gallon until you start buying 10 gallons at a time or so.

Also that $7.50 a yard for 1708 isn't bad at all - again this is a by the foot price. When you guy a roll you are paying for it by the lb and it's obviously much cheaper in bulk. By the roll I think I'm paying $4.50/yard.

Sure maybe the mat and gelcoat is a little pricey but certainly isn't robbery either, no reason to jump all over them.
