Holland 30 Bench Advice

    I would put your bench in place and see if it moves much. I have some large steps in the cockpit of my boat and they used to be attached to the transom with long hooks. I left them unhooked one time and they really did not move much so I stopped hooking them in place for a while and they stayed put pretty well. Only would need them fastened in a big seaway.
    Some brackets like these would work nicely but you might have to make a tapered wood base plate to adapt them to the curved transom.

    Nice looking bench. I like the two piece idea to make them easier to move.

    Hey Chas,

    Thanks a lot and yes got a bunch of really great ideas on here! She always draws a ton of attention and your brother did a great job keeping her up. I really like the set up below, the mahagony table is something you don’t see often on this style/size. For what it’s worth we are keeping her same name because Belle just seems very befitting, just changing her home port to Riverside, Connecticut.

    Spoke with you late last summer when you were anchored at Captains Island.
    I am docked in Cos Cob. I have a center console as of now. But am considering jumping the fence to a 26-30 DE.
