    Toolate,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I could not get this site to allow me to reply.

If you email me ( gsvh747@gmail.com ) I will tell you the whole story and send you a video of the problem.

    Al,

    Thank you for your comments!
I wonder if you can tell me who the Wilcox 22 - Paula W and Hazel W III were named after.

    Hi Gary,

The Paula W was named after my wife , and the Hazel W III was named after my mother Hazel (Brackenwagen) Wilcox.

    Hi Al,
When we had our sea trial in early October, a former owner of the Paula W came by and told me a bit more about how the boat came to be on Lake Erie.
Criquet Codeluppi, the present owner of Cleveland Marine Towing - a TowBoat US Contractor, told me that her father, Lando Codeluppi, found this boat on the east coast and brought it to Cleveland in the late 80's. Criquet told me that she often piloted the boat and stated that the boat saved many a distressed boater out there in 6 to 8 footers. She also said that while you would get wet in those conditions you felt confident that she would bring you home.

    Have a very Merry Christmas,

    Gary
