Looks like the RP's will float again.
Really looking forward to their first build
Theyre not doing the 35’ though correct? Only 40,42,44?
I believe they are only going to build the 40's initially.
35 mold next winter
why is the bottom red?
...good to know!
Where are Dickie and Gene ?
My guess would be retired and enjoying the warm Florida sun.
Does anybody have contact information for the new builder? Is this a new business?

That is red gel coat. If the bottom paint gets thin there is still a red bottom. Ayuh
The boat they used for the mold was a working boat that was in for a overhaul.
So that is the plug? Wouldn't you remove the mold when it was upside down?
They used a working lobster boat as a plug for the mold. The original molds burned years ago, so someone had a 40 footer that was due for a cosmetic overhaul, and they took a mold of from it. There are some pictures on Taylor's facebook page
