Hi, I'm looking at a 23' Seaway Sisu to possibly purchase. She has a 3gm30 Yanmah. this is way under powered. I was wondering if its wise to upgrade with soething closer to 100 hp. If so, I'm sure the transmission will need upgrading as well. If this is at all possible? What kind of cost would I be looking at? I would appreciate any info you could give me. Thanks Joe

I think they have a common rail 4JH that was in the 110 hp range. Check there website but that seems like a great package for that boat.

Keep in mind jumping up in hp may require other drivetrain changes.

Thanks Jerry, How do I determine what other upgrades that I would need? I'm defintley thinking a transmission upgrade would be in order.
