Gelcoat sprayed early this week and the layup is underway
A few layers of glass already
Nothing like a new boat getting started.
Looks awesome, congrats. what power did you decide to go with?
the power is going to be CAT C12.9 1000hp
awesome! great motor. how much fuel are you going with?
Should the perfect motor for this boat. substantial weight savings vs the C18 plus the elimination for the dual exhaust.
going with 600 gallons
I have underwater exhaust setup on my boat. Big motors like that is really keeps the noise and fumes to a minimum. just a small maybe 3 inch hole out the back of the boat to let you know the motor is pumping water and for back pressure at low speeds. the genny is plumbed the same way. Might be something to look into if cruising is the main reason you are building the boat.
Wow, You must be some excited! Keep the pics coming.
Atta boy, off and running.
What other systems are you going with? What generator? What head system? Water heater? As far as head systems go I think Vaccuflush would be a good fit for you.
Northern lights 9kw
Sealand head vacuflush
You must be pumped. Keep the pictures coming!
Very excited...looking forward to all aspects of the build
I really want too see how they glass the two sections together.
Two section will become one on Monday
