Yeah. Would have been best scenario but this is big improvement. The old which was very poorly designed lasted 30 years. You can’t tell from the photo, but while not ideal only a small portion of wet elbow is not on the downhill side.
I had the same on my 380. I took it off and had a custom shower head made. The cummins wet exhaust was 10 years old and in perfect condition. You will get plenty of life out of that.
That is my hope. In hindsight I would have done it with a custom shower head, but this should be good for a long time. I may add a fresh water flush system to make it last longer
