Looking for a boat to take me to my mooring and would like a self bailing hull but I am limited to 12' long and 5'-6" beam.

Models I am interested in are 11' Whaler, J12 Maritime Skiff, 12' Carolina skiff. Anything like this.

Anyone have one or know of one near the western end of CT for sale? I have until spring but just found out I got a slip for it so thought I would ask here.

Thanks.

Ben

Just wait for a 12 brockway ... Anything but a whaler will look good next to your boat

I just don't like the hype of them.. I see much more beauty in those skiffs you build ..simple,stable, practical.

j 12 is what you want. Safe boat and they can take a beating with other boats around them at the dock. Whaler is just "name" that people like. Low rails are not my bag.....J12 is what you want

If anyone does call and speaks to Conrad or Judy, tell them Ian from Maine recommended them. They delivered my boat to Maine new from LI in 2002. Good people.

It was back in 2002. 21' boat and motor new at the time. They charged $500. They took the Cross Sound Ferry, stayed overnight in Maine, waited for high tide and dipped it in at the boat ramp. Between gas, ferry, tolls, and hotel, I don't think they made more than break-even.
