Just FYI. I just hooked one of these up today. It’s purely plug and play no splicing or cutting . Not cheap but you can do it in just a few minutes and have a remote starter that works from your phone if you buy the app module..

What did the install entail? Does it stayed plugged into the OBD2 port? I'd like a remote starter on my truck.
On my truck there was 3 plugs not sure what the OBD2 is but you just unplug those and plug this thing in.. then those plugs you took out plug into the harness .. then you have to go thru some steps to get the thing working while you are on the phone with them. You basically unplug it and plug it into the computer and remotely they configure it for you .. you gotta Download and app etc. you also have to buy the extra web programmer that’s $100 to set this up remotely or you have to set the thing up on your truck and do the 1st stage programming and then mail it to them to configure it and they send it back again.. out of the box and speaking with them and installing apps etc it took about an hour. They walk you thru the whole thing

Haha blasphemy! The old 6.0 starts like an absolute champ! It's keeping it running that's the challenge... New turbo coming next month.
6.0 ford isnt really that bad. stock turbo from ford? or the garrett power max?

I'm going to go with the KC Stage 1 turbo. Everything I've read is that it's one of the best.
i put a power max on my 550 yrs ago. i think it lost a little low end power. at 1800 it comes to life. ford treats me pretty good on parts if you wanted stock. chasing a high pressure oil leak on mine now. only making 200 psi at cranking needs 500 to start. and to anyone with ford diesels DO NOT USE NAPA WIX OR WHATEVER oil or fuel filters. use ford they are made by racor parker

Have installed 2 of these on my cars. Both on Toyota 4runners. Super easy install and after 3 years no issues. I just like the fact that it works off the factory FOB.
