This is a great little skiff built by David J. Smith , Cape Sable Island Nova Scotia. It is powered by a 20 Hp Yamaha 4-stroke electric start long shaft with the rare (and expensive)option of power tilt and trim. There is dry storage in bow area and center bench seat and aft corner seats can be made into dry storage as well but are currently air tight. Boat was built in 2006 and bought 2007 at a dealer by a gentleman in his 90's.He never took boat from dealer and then told dealer to sell it last fall. Therefore, boat was never put in water until last fall, and this is when engine was started for first time since brand new. Needless to say, boat is like new. This is a BIG 14' skiff!! It sits on a Venture single axle roller trailer that has about 90 miles on it from new and has never had the wheel bearings submerged. Engine was freshwater flushed for 15 minutes after each of its limited uses. This is my second David J. Smith that I have owned and I can attest that he builds a very solid, simple boat. I have just found a larger David J. Smith that I am looking to purchase so you can buy this like new one for $6750.
