16' "Harbormaster skiff" project

    What do you want for those blue lights?
    In my experience I would check out the trailer axle very closely.

    Unfortunately the retired harbormaster asked for the light. I think it had some nostalgic value for him. Trailer has newer axle, hubs and tires. Only a 25min drive on back roads but stiil could certainly ruin a day....

    Looks like a sweet ride, thought about getting it but I remembered what happened last time I got a boat in Mass...

    Should make you a good rig, even without the blue light

    I probably don't have the self control to have a blue light...

    jack had a very ,very tired 48 hp evinrude pushing that boat and it went fine. i think the boat will go much better with less hp and less weight. what a workhorse.

    Ok she made it back to the shop. 30 minutes after getting there I had it gutted.

    Build is going to be bare bones, I need to keep it simple... I have a way of getting carried away. Boat is registered as a 1957 (unknown make). Definitely built with a mixture of wood and glass, transom and gunnels are wood.

    Its the hatteras that came from liberty marine. I believe you you saw it when the THT thread got posted on Facebook.
