Is this the classic 18 with a soft chine? Seems like a lot of their boats have hard chines now

Yes, it is. I think their 18 now is a Seaway which has a hard chine. The classic rolls a bit but you get used to it and it's smooth as hell while running.

Nice video! The Eastern handles it well. I had a similar ride in mine last week in Long Island Sound. Seems there’s more windy days lately.

Thanks! Definitely seems to be blowing more than usual or at least harder. They definitely handle certain conditions very well. Nothing better than those sheet glass days though. Hope you're enjoying yours.
