Ok to list it here too many bumps though. We use a 6 week bump usually or there abouts

anyone have a ride comparison between this set up VS same hull with a full bracket and a single 300hp OB ?

I may be a little biased, but the ride is night and day. My friend had the same boat bracketed 250 HP Yamaha 4 stroke and it was faster and had a nice ride for sure but just different. Stern squats until your on a true plane it feels like your either doing 14 knots or 25 knots (although trim tabs would help this big time). The one I am selling cruises lower (20-22 knots), but I'd rather have the closed transom with centered engine weight in the middle of the boat. When your in the slop the boat never loses its stern and its steady consistent ride even in 3/4/5 footers. The bracketed outboard has to slow down to the same speed or lower to be comfortable in the slop. I prefer the slower cruise overall and ability to maintain the ride whether it's flat clam or in the slop.

With that said, his boat topped out high 30s if I remember right and mine WOT is 30-32 knots pending sea conditions. Every boat has its pros and cons, all depends on what you like and how/when you use it.

Bill - No problem on the bumps! I do my ad on the THT weekly so just did this at the same time. No issue on the 6 weeks here.

My buddy has a straight inboard with a Crusader. It is a fantastic boat. I had a 23 with an outboard and I’d take the inboard over my boat everyday and twice on Sundays. Yes they are slower but not by a lot, I ran my OB at 27 and my buddies inboard ran at 22. I’m a fan.

I currently have a ‘74 20’ SF for the last 9 yrs, awesome boats. Been looking for a solid 23’ but the straight inboard concerns me with all the sandbars around my somewhat new to me area. I’ve touched bottom a few times with my 20’

These inboards are way more sought after than the outboards that’s all I know . I’m surprised it hasn’t gone yet. Guys down the cape love them

Happy new year all!

The SeaCraft is still available, and will sell with or without trailer.

Do you a new price or still asking the original asking? Do you have any bottom pictures?

Asking price $35,000 with trailer, $32,000 without.

Price is definitely negotiable, willing to make a deal with serious interest.

Vamoose - I will send you a PM.

Some day...
Surprised this is still for sale. Sought after boat with completely new mechanicals. And your asking price is more than fair to boot. I have that same engine in my 25GM with 1500+ hours of commercial use and it still runs great.

Thank you! And I agree with you on the 350 Crusader, real nice engine. Boat consistently gets 1.75 - 2 mpg pending weight/gear/cruise.

Spring is here! Almost time to get back in water. Seacraft is still for sale and would like to find it a new home for the season.
