I bought this boat last summer with all intentions of ripping it apart and doing it over but long story short I wound up selling my house where I kept it and my realtor said get it out of here..do i regret it? no I just would prefer to have it now!..
Apparently wayne built it for himself for the lobster boat races and he fired a 454 in it..it somehow made it way down to duxbury ma where it was lobstered for 18 years.. It has a 6cyl ford when i got it that looked like a mushroom mooring...a complete piece of sh*t.. the boat was solid all over except from the windows up.. I was going to cut the whole thing off and lift it with a mast stepping crane and just duplicate it over the winter but instead I chose to rip apart my 19 midland skiff and 2 projects dont make a right..there was rats nest upon rats nests for wiring..i was gonna have to rip up the deck to put in atleast 2 -75 gal tanks along with wet exhaust..I was shopping for 350s and even peeked at a few 454s just to be an asshole..bottom line is that I was looking at a solid 10k without labor to do it the way I wanted it but I just figure I will buy something way bigger.. like 32-36 and spend the money on that cause the 23 really isnt a huge step up from my 19ft midland...
