27’ Tripp Angler Downeast Express Cruiser. The hull is a beautiful well-known and loved design by Royal Lowell. This boat is perfect for overnights, as well as cocktail cruises and day trips with friends. The large cockpit (with no engine box) makes it more spacious than many other boats. Engine runs great (Yanmar 170hp - 1750 hours). The price reflects condition as the boat needs a little interior cosmetic TLC. It's currently in the water on the North Shore of Massachusetts and ready for a sea trial. Please reach out for more information and additional photos.

See PM for specific answers, but I don't know the dry weight. No clue... She'd be a pretty big boat to trailer and would most likely need a pretty serious trailer and towing vehicle.

Excellent research!

I can’t imagine there were any changes to the mold, so I’d say your numbers are probably spot on!

Hi,

WOT is 3300 rmp which gets me to 14 or 15 knots. Comfortable cruising speed is around 1850-1900 rpm which is good for 12-13 knots. One of the interested parties who I’ve shown the boat to (very nice guy!) was looking at the size/pitch of the current screw and suggested that a bigger one might yield more speed. The existing screw is 17” and it looks like there is plenty of room (like 23-24”) for a bigger one. There is plenty of room in the keel.

Looking at the initial picture made we want to ask if you bought this in Hull but then looking at the picture in the mooring field told me yes. Always admired that boat almost bought it before John bought it and then talked to him about a trade for my Seaway 26 CC when he was selling it.
Great pretty boat. GLWS!
