Here are some pics of my current project. I found this boat in a field with a for sale sign on it. The boat needed a keel up rebuild. On the to do list is: transom, stringers, deck, gunnel cap, center console, spray rails, and engine bracket. Yup, the whole damn thing.
When I tore into the boat it had 2 layers of 1/2" unglassed decking and 1 layer of glassed decking that look to be 1 layer of 3/4" mat. The keel was worm dirt only tabbed in place. The center console and other storage boxes on deck were all 1/2" latex painted plywood.
This will be a long process but the goal is to have it done by next fall. So enjoy the boat porn!
