I've driven by this boat 100 times and I stare at it every time. Definitely a cool looking boat, its been sitting for a year or two in a boat yard on 236 in Elliot.

The Shammy Pilothouse model is the most sought after. Some originally came with a "Pisces" diesel which was less than 100 HP. I believe made by Chrysler. Most had 302 Fords. Some gassers have been repowered with 4108 Perkins or other slow turners that make them basically tugs.

I know many here think Shamrocks are junk. But this is a great set up. Just wonder what she turns up and how fast she is.

My cousin has one with a gasser. Cool little boat, not speed demon, and because of that its a little bit of a wet ride, but with the house it's not a problem at all.

If you're planning on do a lot of ocean fishing with this boat it's worth noting that it will be a wet deck unless you plug the scuppers.
