2004 28 aj set up as lobster boat, but never a full or hard season of fishing.new this month 5.7 vortec motor (330hp) and zf63a 2.5 to 1 trans. less then 25 hours. goes great 16 knot 3200 25 knots at 4400. great boat, just want a more heavy duty lobster boat. would make a good day cruiser or tuna (has rod holders in rail and on top). $38,500.00 OBO one year warrenty on motor 2 on trans.

it does have an engine box, but its only about 3 inches high. one nice thing about an aj (i've owned 2) is the hight of the deck, i can put 60 4ft traps on, 6 bushel of bait and a barrel of water and the scuppers don,t go down much and i can still see over the bow on both sides. if you see one on morring along side bigger boats hard to tell it,s only a 28 footer.

all the windows are winns aluminum frames, great windows alot easier to keep clean then rubber mounted.

Great looking boat. Does it have any sort of interior? I cannot imagine it will last long.
