Agree, and thanks for your reply. Yes, they've decided to be rationale...so, best is for anyone interested to have a look and make an offer. It's still at Kittery Point Yacht Yard, Eliot, Maine.

Considering the high price it was listed for, i think you would get better results if you listed it with a new price that is realistic and then said or best offer. It should sell.

I believe you could have it built either way. I think lincoln was a fan of the low sheer considering the nb is also a low sheer. Closer to the water line would be my guess.
It does add to the stability. I have been on several of both styles. The low sheer seems to be preferred by lobstermen and high sheer for sport guys because of no engine box.
