It has an ETEC - I love it! Was that an option...? I thought all Seaways and Easterns came with Yamaha power standard...

That seaway was built prior to Eastern building them. And Eastern will rig pretty much any Outboard. They're a dealer for Yamaha, Evinrude, Merc, and Honda. Yamaha is byfar the most popular.

Just sold mine last month to a buy in Huntington LI. He got a good deal and now I only have one DE. 
Mine was flag blue, 05, 150 Yamaha pushed it to almost 40mph (way too fast for the hull) but it was best at about 22 mph. Soft ride.
Surprisingly light boat really.
