I was wondering if that was the original South Shore mold. Pretty hull for sure. And with a little power, fast as well.

Ken Flower has all the molds for the 30 and has been producing a few quietly for a few years. It is for sure a true classic design. I love the boat.

What does the cabin look like for $100K I wonder? Is she effectively a work boat? That would be my guess.....

That's what I was thinking.. 100k seems like a pretty good deal.

I have not seen one finished but can tell you that it is just a turn key boat with just the basics, to get you out on the water fishing. Ken put this package together for the guy that just wanted a nice boat to go fishing on that was efficient and stable. For the price it is just a simple running boat with no extras. It is like going down to the local truck dealer and buying a stock pickup truck, it's a truck but you get the V6, no power anything, no carpet, tiny tires and steel rims. Just basic.

Bringing back an old post. Does anyone know who has the mold for the 30' southshore / eastcoast today? I am curious to know if they are still being produced and if kits are available.

Had a DE, now 24' Privateer
My friend used to have a 34 SS and I swore for a while it was 35 duffy, either way he had a 300hp deere in her and she scooted right along. Lobster boat set up, worked fairly hard. When he sold it a few years back no with I wanna say 10k hours, he asked 70k and it was gone in a week.

Great boats the SS

I believe this is the boat (hull) that a forum member cut the keel down and put an outboard on. If you do a search I'm sure you will find it. He bought a kit and finished it himself.
