Awesome boat but the prop looks a little small doesn't it?

Newer gas power in the 22 Webber Cove was 5.0/5.8 Ford or 5.7 Mercruiser.

There's a local (Salisbury MA) 22 Webber Cove I've been out on.Has a 5.7 Merc 275/300 HP. Swings a 16X18 3 blade rh prop.

I thought the same thing when I saw the prop. I would have put some reduction in that gear.

Kristel appears to have a smaller than 16" prop.

Below is a pic of the 22's 16" prop than I've been out on.

Looks like 16" is about as big as you can go on a 22 Webbers Cove.

The boat I was out on was loaded to the gills weight wise.

80 gallons of fuel under the decks, from cabib loaded with gear.

big baitwell in the back.

The boat still did 18 knots @ 3200 rpm

I would LOVE to have one of these beauties for a 2nd boat.

Set it up as a lobster boat/runabout, draws 2 feet of water.

Neat!
