I know this is not a DE, but hopefully people don't mind if I post it here as it is a nice cheap straight inboard tuna skiff.

Asking Price: 10,500 OBO . New boat is here, time to find this a new home.

Hull:
1987 Dusky 233 FCC (forward cuddy)

Mechanical:
1998 Mercruiser 5.7l 260 hp (2 barrel carb/fresh water cooled)
550 hours, manifolds and risers two years old, new heat exchanger
Borg Warner velvet drive transmission, 1.52:1 gear reduction.
1.25" shaft
100 gallon fuel capacity, (2) 50 gallon tanks replaced in 2010
Stuffing material for rudder and shaft repacked 2012

Electrical:
Two group 24 batteries (2011)
Windlass with bow and console controls
(3) bilge pumps
Panel/gauges replaced and rewired this winter, all lights, pumps, blowers, etc fully operational.

Electronics:
Furuno 16 mile radar
Garmin 498C GPS
Raymarine DX500 digital sounder with Airmar through hull transducer

Acessories:
(4) custom rod holders in gunwale, (3) swivel rod holders in gunwale
(4) rod rocket launcher/leaning post (2010)
Custom t-top (2010)
CJ 15' Outriggers
Saltwater washdown

Boat is well rigged for inshore striper/tuna fishing. Runs well, well maintained. 18-20 kt cruise at 3200 rpm.

It has a 2 barrel carb, 260 hp. Around 10 gallons an hour at 3200 best Ive been able to figure, 1.7-2nm a gallon depending on load.

Being an 18 year old this would be a perfect starter boat. Cant wait to get out of school and start working.

Yes it would, simple and inexpensive to operate and maintain. Study hard, don't just daydream all day and draw tunas in your notebooks like i did.

Pretty boat that looks like it it is very good at what it was built to do. Any chance you have a shot of the transom out of the water? How about up into the FCC?
