He didnt put a year on the boat but it has to be 85 or newer. I can tell by the framing of the roof. 85 and prior they were slanted back not 90degrees straight down.
Considering you cant buy a new privateer unless custom ordered and they are NOT built by Warren Wilkerson anymore, these boats do hold some value, esp if in good shape and with a new tank. Just my opinion.

In 1983 brand new with twin 90hp johnson's the whole rig i believe was about 26k

Now if you were to buy one brand new you are prob in the range of 80k give or take. Thats if you can even get one built, I do not know what the wait is and how readily available they are.

The main thing about buying one now, is as I have previously stated, is that Warren Wilkerson was the founder and owner till 1996 then after that his partner Gilbert took over.
Roomer has it that he started cutting corners. When Warren monitored the builds, there was never a mat of glass left out and never an ounce of resin spared. Hence why these boats hulls last forever and and take a true pounding.
