In that application I liked it. It allowed a 26 foot boat to have a center companionway, an enclosed head, and a small galley down forward. A standard engine configuration and that wouldnt have really been possible. The 26 Duffy also REALLY likes the weight after, and I believe it's a faster set up than a standard configuration. It's a better set up for a cruiser, which is how my Duffy was set up. Personally, the way we boat, I'd rather have more cockpit than a cruiser trunk cabin though.

Definitely! I started seriously looking a little after this one sold thinking I’d find something for a similar price. Had to go up in budget quite a bit in the end, but glad i did.

2008 with an yanmar BY-260. Cruise is 18 knots and sits like a duck.
