Had a DE, now 24' Privateer
I've seen this boat a few times now. Its actually a very cute boat and from the looks of it has been pretty well maintained

Those are BIG 26 ft boats
I put a bow thruster in one, because of a very tight berth.
It was balsa cored, with giant osmosis blisters on the forefoot. The layup was ridiculously thick (ill take a pic, I think the piece is still at work) and completely dry on account of 3/4"of glass on either side of the balsa.
I'll also see if I can still, take a pic of the double thickness built Harris 35 that was built for marine police back in the early 80s. It was way to heavy to get to anyone within reason.
A friend of mine bought it and has done amazing things to it.
Anyway, the core sample for the bow thruster is about 2" of solid glass on either side of the balsa core!

So it's actually tough and cute. How can you beat that?
