Also on yachtworld. Been there for a long ass time too. I spoke to the broker and supposidly she has some wicked stability issues while under way.

LOL @ the broker trying not to sell the boat.

I also own a 27 Nauset. There isn't any stability issues underway. It's the following sea that will get you.

This boat has a straight drive. I supplied the engine to the marina. Nice install.

Actually it has to do with this specific boat at speed. Says 10-12 knots she is fine. 14+ and its dangerously unstable. The broker is a downeast guy, good rep old school fisherman not some clown.

He made a point to it was not a general statement about nausets as a whole.

The engine and gear he has is around 30k. I believe that this boat does not need anything more than 220hp....perhaps 180 hp. As stated above, this is a 14-16 knot boat. If you want fast...this is not your vessel.

I think the owner has a Parker he uses
