I agree and looks like a reasonable asking price too. Mast is great with rod holders and good lighting/not too tall.

What is the boat next to it? Looks like maybe a 35 Duffy?

I think your right, looks like the boat "tuna eclipse" thats listed on yachtworld. Both good looking boats, I've always liked the 28 Harris cuttyhunk. Don't see them on the market very often.

I think the Harris cuttyhunk is probably my favorite downeast boat in that size range. This is based on looks alone, as I love that powder horn lowell sheer line. I have never been on one, but have read past threads and have heard good things, as these were built heavy, and are reportedly much more stable than the nauset 27s. There is one in st George's bermuda, that has been a one owner commercial boat, and has always turned my head.

One day....

Took a peek at his vessel this morning. With his OK I have some pics I could post on his behalf. It has a small (3" or so) step over the Yanmar engine, lots and lots of room.

I know this boat, and the current owner ... he is exactly the kind of smart and careful guy you would want to buy a boat from, and the previous owner was a great guy who took amazing care of the boat (built a garage just for indoor winter storage) ... another captain from MV (who runs a 34' South Shore) said this boat went through some pretty unbelievably nasty seas never looking the worse for wear, stuff that bigger DE boats wouldn't want to be anywhere near ... somebody is gonna get one badass beauty of a boat for a great deal
