I thought this boat sold a few months back? Why only 40k?

Does anybody know the history of this boat or have opinions / concerns. I took a ride on it yesterday with owner. I am very interested, going to having a diesel mechanic check engine out on saturday. engine is a cummins 210 turbo, has 3800 hrs on it, at 2100 it cruised at 16-17kts. the boat is a 2004.

210 hp Cummins (6BT) has a great reputation for longevity- 3800 hours should nothing w/ regular oil changes. At that hp, it's not running a lot of fuel through; they last way longer than the TA's and they don't have the saltwater aftercooler to potentially ruin the engine if it's not religiously zinced and cleaned.
