27 H&H with Cummins QSB 5.9 480 power

that thing would be sweet with a small diesel..

So I believe the Duffy 30' is a skeg boat.....does anyone know if this is the only skeg built hull Spencer Lincoln designed?

Unless there are lobsters in Lake George that wasn't always the case.

50 gals of fuel seems a little light..

Rehab project for sure.

The boat looks like a 30 Calvin Beal, the top @ least !

One of the lucky ones.... Just sold my boat looking for another!
I like is boat. Anymore thoughts? What's it worth? Looks clean had an easy life so far. Can the Borg Warner gear be re used for a diesel say 420 hp? What about fuel what would be the best way to get some decent amounts on board?

You can not use that gear for a 420 hp diesel ....you will need a Twin Disc 507A

Thanks md145... Any info is appreciated. It seems like a nice simple slate to add on to. I fish offshore a limited number of times but fish inshore with my kids multiple times a week. Speed is important because most days I pick them up after school and time is limited.

I have seen this boat both in and out of the water over the past couple of years...most recently in October 2012. It is really a nice looking boat and looks just as good up close. It is docked at the foot of Seneca Lake in NY and spends the winters shrinkwraped on land. Prop and shaft looked good as I remember and no visible damage anywhere to the keel or hull. If it had a diesel, I would have bought her. I even carried around the phone number from the for sale sign for a couple of months. The boat has been for sale for over a year...I don't know if the price has remained the same.

It looks clean and I like that there is nothing on it. That way I can add what I what and need specifically and not have to pay for older played out items. Anybody know anything about the 30' version?
