agreed. looks like a great deal for a simple slow boat.
i imagine its built well.
does anyone have any experience with the 30ft model?

Boat Make
35' Five Islands
I spoke to the listing agent and he said this is the only 30' Nauset ever made. Doesn't make sense unless they went through the trouble to make a mold and the boat underperformed so badly they decided to make only one...he also told me the boat tops out at 10-12, cruises around 7-8 knots which is ridiculous..is there any way to increase the HP on a 150 Cummins?

there is one here in bermuda.
years ago i did some minor rot repair on some wheelhouse storage lockers, and looked at the transom stamp to see what kind boat it was.
i'd just started apprenticing as a shipwright, and wasn't aquianted with DE boats then.
i remember it had those same bulwarks and clipper bow as the one posted.
don't recall what it had for power
haven't seen it recently though. will have to keep and eye out for it.
