The 375 hp Deere that was removed for the repower we just did is for sale up at Marine Systems in Bass Harbor Maine. I am pretty sure that it is still there with a reverse gear. Not sure how much the customer wants but it is a running take out.

I'll ask this for you.

Provide some info on the boat you are repowering. Size, weight, prop, what shaft diameter you have and how you are goinf to use the boat?

The guy has a 2:1 gear for sale too. Will that work for your boat?

If not, what gear are you looking for?

I assume there are a few gears out there for sale.

35 bruno.. 22 pulpit and 22 crows nest. i think 1 3/8 shaft , prop 21 by 20 i think 453 dd with 72 series, he said might not sell the gear with it. i talked to him . thank you just wanna put the gear with it that gets that thing moving the fastest i can. thanks

Anybody here got a 2 to 1 w/ that power? I swing a 26 square w/ that engine and a 2.5 to 1. But mine's not a Bruno and I know they are quite limited for diameter w/o making some changes.

Chasintail,you will not be able to use a 2.5 to 1 gear...a 35 bruno doesnt have enough clearance to swing a big wheel...plus your shaft is to small...the seller of the motor also has a 1.75 inch shaft for sale....that would be better with the 2 to 1 gear

If you can find a 507a 2to1 with a cat bell housing....he will trade the gear and you can have the whole package

Try T&S Marine in Crisfield, MD. The go through a lot of 3208's and 507's.
