They were installed on a 42 Sea Blade. 40.6 knots at WOT and 51 gph for all three. There are some videos of the boat on Instagram.I would be interested in what hull the trips were installed on as well as performance numbers for that hull whenever you have that information..thanks
If you need anything you can always call 978-821-9826 or email me at [email protected]Thank you for your response. I went to the Cox website and tried to establish communication via email and got nothing in return. Normally when I email Mack Boring I get a response in an hour. Good to see you respond and she’d some light on the product.
John, so the OXE has an option for props or jetdrive?Just spent a day at the International Workboat show in New Orleans and OXE and COX were on display, as were a few other engine manufacturers. OXE had 10 times the interest, and after getting a chance to look at them both OXE seems to be a very well designed engine. I’m still personally skeptical about having a belt driven lower unit, but time and abuse will ultimately determine how it works out. Regardless it was very cool to see both engines up close.
On another note there was a pair of v12 600 horsepower Mercurys, and they are MASSIVE engines, absolute monsters. There was also a Suzuki 350 there, and a rep that gave me no confidence in the engine when I asked him about it and his first response was “do you really need a duo prop engine?”

I’ve heard so many bad stories about the Suzuki 350, straight from guys who repower boats, guys who have owned them, guys who have friends that have owned them. I’m sure Suzuki makes great outboards in HP below 350, but from everything I have heard, the 350 has had trouble.Lol at the Suzuki rep that said that to you...probably will be out of a job before long...
