32 bhm $31500

Listing this for an old charter boat Captain. It's a 32 bhm that he bought new. He repowered it a few years back with a brand new Volvo. Very low hrs. It needs some cosmetics. He retired from the charter boat industry due to health reasons. I would be interested in the Rhode Island permits if anyone is interested. Tell em Capt. Scott sent you from the Reel to Reel. Wow, what a friggin' deal. I'd use this for a few years and maybe throw a rebuilt Cummins in there maybe if I couldn't take the slow pace of life!

On the plus side, you could put the trolling rigs out as soon as you clear the breakwater.

Problem is you have to clear the breakwater. Just what i need to be coming home from Gayhead and depending on the direction of tide may not make through Quicks hole with a full crew. LOl....

I bet she cruises at 9knts. I make it to 9knts at 1500rpms with an engine putting out 260 max and Im over 40,000lbs

Buy it, run it, earn money with it, get enough money get a bigger engine.... If it doesnt work nothing you lost... That is a great deal for a running boat...

What do you guys think one would have to spend to get this boat to 16 to 18 kts after you get your use out of it? As far as another rebuild

I've got one of those boats. 355 to 375 hp B series and a 2.5 to 1 gear will probably do it for 18, and you'll be a few hundred off WOT. 315 hp will get you to 16 if you keep her light- and 20 knots WOT. If there are no issues w/ the balsa cabin top and washboards that boat is an excellent deal.
