Have a 32 MC with 300 hp cat 3116 , 2800 rpm ,2/1 Twin Disc. Boat is basic lobster boat as far as weight. Prop on there is 23x20 rh bronze,1 3/4 shaft, looking for advice on a larger diameter prop. Dont run boat hard looking for best efficientcy at 12-13 knots, any prop meisters with some input? Plenty of room for bigger wheel. Engine turns up 2800 on dash tach wot ,never no loaded engine at dock (THATS SCARY!) thanks

You are there!

You are where you want to be. Granted even though you can take a larger diameter you will need to give up pitch. I would not change the wheel. Your efficiency currently with your 23 X 20 is .85% you are there. 85% with a keeled boat is very good. If you went with a 26 wheel your pitch would be only 17 your WOT speed at 100% would be 19.60 knots. You will never achieve 100% wheel efficiency in a DE boat.
