I took these pics the other day of my friends 33` Crowley Beal. I have liked the looks of this boat since he brought it in the Cove 5 or 6 years ago. He repowered with an 8.1L John Deere.
I am hoping this is my next boat, a step up from my 28` Crowley.

There is another 33 here in Perkins Cove with a Reddman Tower and Stand if anyone wants to see some pics

220 John Deere. I like the boat, this is my 9th year with it. Some added weight in the keel might make it a little more comfortable when laying side to but all in all it has been a great boat. 15 knots at 2000 and it sips fuel.

Thank you very much for all the info. The 28 crowley I fished on had a wet keel in it made it very stable head sea was a great ride no pounding at all. Thank you again

I finished one as a cruiser, picnic boat, loaded all up with a 440 yanmar and it went real good. put it in a 3ft. head sea and it would beat the bejesus out of you. great on anchor and good in a following nsea. good boat all around other than the pounding into a head sea.

mud, what boat pounded bad in a small head sea? The 28ft or 33ft boat?
