Fish out of niantic mostly eastern long island sound.

Niantic i do fish down by sw reef once in awhile.
Did you say you were a teacher at madison wood shop?????
Was that the pictures of the small plywood skiffs post i saw ones you built.

Nice ride, I was admiring it when you were getting it ready in Clinton this spring. Stopped by a couple times to check it out & introduce myself, but you were'nt there when I stopped by....very nice boat

Thanks still trying to find 1 more to replace our little dragger that is over there now. Once we got it in the water it was hard for us to come back to land to hang out. i am sure we will be over there soon since the taug fishin is coming to an end. Have a happy thanksgiven.

My dad's got a 34 ft Wayne Beals lobster boat. Prettiest boat in Maine!

A few years back when I was in Wayne's shop he was building a hard chined 34 do you happen to know where that boat ended up? I believe it was going to a lobsterman downeast somewhere.

Just to clarify- The 34' and 36' Calvin Beals that SW Boatworks builds are different than the 34' and 36' Wayne Beal boats. Calvin designed all the boats, but Waynes are a little narrower than the Calvins of the same length. I believe the 34' Wayne is 12'2" wide, where the 34' Calvin is 13' wide. Designed by the same guy, but 2 different boats.

I believe I saw one over at gone fishing marina in montauk 34 Wayne beal . I will have to agree when I get off the Wayne beal at the end off the day my back and legs feel pretty good nice ride. But I have not been on any other de boats yet. Time will tell.
