It was built and used as a CG AUX boat. It is now owned by Maine Maritime Academy and kept in Castine at their waterfront. They use it as a training vessel.
Cool , thanks! Like to see the layout. I like that sliding door in the house.that will be my next project after all the other projects. Doesn't stop but that's the fun part.
Hmm saw that for sale a while ago. Why the two exhausts hmm wonder if they are both reel because that Yanmar probably only has one exhaust not likes v bank with twin turbos. It's cool looking for sure...
They always get the cool stuff after you leave! Same for mass it seems too.
The boat looks good but honestly kinda sucks. Its grossly under-powered, makes about 10-11 kts wide open and it plows like a mother. clutch speed basically doesnt exist. The seats in the back are also a nuisance. it was a 30' bhm extended four feet by wesmac. Both stacks are real and it smokes pretty good when its cold which looks pretty cool. Finished off pretty nice inside tho.
Im actually from NH, have a house in orleans and grown up every summer there, i would like to consider myself a local haha. But yeah up at Maine Maritime just liked what they offered a lot more.
