Yeah I know the boat that's a lot heavier then this one isNice boat. Is it just me out does that fuel burn seem optimistic @ 18kts, 8-10gph? My buddies 35 duffy burns 8gph @ 12 kts. Granted his is rigged for hardcore tuna fishing so I'm sure it's heavier than this one but still. Googinhater you might be familar with my friends boat since your both from Gloucester, the "Osprey".
26 years old....i say over priced with a 11000 hour motor

I remember that boat down on the Cape as the Hungry Eyes. Always liked her lines, sweet boat. There's a really good pic of her running on Kevin/Christina's charter site.
11k hours is alot when buying a boat for 60k.Those old volvos are great but you never know. Would suck to spend 60 grand and blow the engine and have to spend another 20-35k on a repower.
Why? do you think 11,000hrs is a lot of hours? Try 28,000 on my original duffy engine. There is about 8000 on the second engine now since that was installed new.
Thank You...thats what iam sayingfor 60 grand? yeah
Thank You...thats what iam saying
Compared to my 28000 hr engine.. that means the motor isn't half used up yet... only 20 more years left at the rate it is being used. Most commercial guys would tell you that engine is just broken in. I couldn't be in business if a Volvo was junk with 11.000 hours. I understand other engines are junk with those hours but that is why I wouldn't buy them.11k hours is alot when buying a boat for 60k.Those old volvos are great but you never know. Your on the sellers side of the fence....i remember you were selling yours for 52 or 54 ....iam just saying there is another Duffy 35 on here that has more options and its a 86 and he cant get 49 grand.....i never said junk...i like the boat ...but not at 60How much should someone sell a boat worth 60 grand for then? If you want a boat worth 125k you should look at 125k boats. I saw one guy buy a burnt up hull and probablythrough 30k at it and sold it for 120k. You are way ahead of the work with something like this.
