As they say here is the rest of the story. Hul was laid up at Atlantic Boat in 2004 and original owner passed away. His wife sold it to a broker to get rid of it. Broker sold it to someone who was going to finish it himself. He ran out of money and passion for the project in 2006. My father and I stepped in and bought the hull with the cap as well as the engine, gear and shaft all installed by Atlantic Boat and then it became our project. Wioth help from friends we picked away as money and time allowed. My father was fishing a 42 OEM fulltime and was closing in on 70 and saw this as a boat to downsize to as he wasn't ever going to fully retire.

In Sept of 2011 we launched the boat and worked out the bugs. She was only fished 4 days and then blew two pistons. Dad got sick and diagnosed with Lung Cancer in Feb 2012 and passed in April. Rebuilt engine in Spring and finally relaunched in Sept 2012. Didn't fish this year as time didnt allow. Looking to sell this boat as I only fish part time and don't need something this big. Great boat that is as close to new as you will find without the new price tag.

My condolences on your dads passing. I lost my mom to lung cancer last year. It sucks, I feel for you.

Good lord that is an interesting history on the boat! Sorry to hear about your father I lost my mother in the 90s to lung cancer.
