i was looking for suggestions for a do-it-yourselfer. how difficult and expensive would it be to cut the flying bridge off a 35 duffy and add controls/steering and totally rewire gauges/electronics inside the pilot house. hull is mid 80's and only had controls/steering/gauges on the FB.

thx for help

Theres alot of variables in this question.

Is there a spot for a lower helm

can you reuse your old linkage and steering

how much glassing and repainting do you want to do

what kinda of finish do you want to give the boat.

Fly bridge: Simple, sawzail

do you have any pics of the boat ext and interior. Pictures are worth a thousand words and cant help enlighten any suggestions you may receive.

Hey lizard,

I looked at that duffy last week. A friend was thinking of buying it.
To much work for him!!! My opinion is if you pull the top off, move sterring station down. You could have one hell of a boat for the money!!
