right around 26 knots

Great video. She's certainly moving right along, and at a nice angle too.

Question for CIB--is it possible, with enough power, for a Duffy 35 to yield a 25kt cruise in good weather (like in the video) and not have the hull keel-walk or exhibit any other uncomfortable behavior? That is, on a flat day could I run from Bass River to Nantucket at 25kts with the autopilot on? I figure since CIB has finished about a million of those hulls you guys would be better equipped than most to answer that question.

Shouldn't be a problem my duffy 35 cruises at 21 knots with a 375 JD . My father in law's duffy 35 has a 650 hp Mack E-7 and she will do 33 to 34 knots and cruises around 25 knots

It's funny how different layouts with different engines produce different speeds. I know of a few 35's with a bunch more HP that also cruise at 21 kts, but that's because of the layout of the boat (tower, full cabin etc). I guess it's not really funny, it makes sense, just goes to show that you have to think the whole thing through so that what you are building fits your needs.
