Needs to be paired with a 10kw Northern Lights generator to extend its range. Pure battery no way...hybrid perhaps.
I would think that mass produced electric OB’s would be cheaper than gas or diesel OB’s.

I love the old diesels in DE boats, but I also like the idea of pushing for technology. There may come a time when electric motors make sense if the price is right, solar can be added to a boat, and the batteries take up the bilge instead of fuel tanks. Maybe a hybrid with both will be the future so you won't be stranded out at sea if you lose your power supply. If you are a lobster boat and idle most of the day maybe it would make sense to go electric.

Our first product is a 350HP outboard electric motor inverter that will propel a 24 foot tritoon to a top speed of over 60 MPH with a range of 40 miles (average). Yeahhhhh! something doesn't seem right here. 1HP=746 watts, or 261KW @ 350 HP. and as the web site indicates it is 400v 3 phase which tells me it's A/C.

I don't do a lot of heavy industrial jobs but my current project requires wiring 4- 100 HP 3 phase 480V motors and they weigh at least 800lbs.

At 400v it’s still running 653 amps. a Tesla can make that kind of Hp but you would only do it for a few seconds. At highway cruise maybe just 25HP . A boat is full time. I’m not seeing that happen for a day of fishing, cruising or towing tubes.

I was thinking Red White and blue !!. I would buy one if i could afford it. However not with that Mercury lower unit. I'm guessing my little 2000I Honda Genny wouldn't charge those batts.

Oh and only if they are made in USA !!.
