Signed a purchase/sale today for a 36 Crowley Beal in Cutler Maine. She has a 450 Scania with 7200ish hours, and cruises at an easy 20kts at 1800RPM. She is 9'10 between the wash rails and i'll have about 15ft from the back of the engine box to the transom once all of the aluminum is removed, plenty of room! It has a 33 top on it, so looks a little pushed forward. We swung by Jim Beals shop on the way home and he is going to make us a 3 ft extension for the roof so we can bring the top and side back to the end of the engine box and put a center fiberglass panel in. The owner is going to finish fishing through November and into December and hopefully the boat will come home sometime mid December after a survey and oil sample analysis. here are some picture of her, the last picture is a photo-shopped version of about how she will look with 2 side windows and the top extended back.
Nice looking boat. I have a 28 ft Crowley Beal that Jim set up the same way with the center panel that is the same width as the engine box. Make for a nice place to have a rigging station. Good luck with her.
