Thoughts on this boat? Soft Chine? I cant find hardly any information anywhere online about them - other than who designed it and where it is built.

One for sale with basically an empty wheelhouse so I could build it up how I want it.

Anyone know how they perform in sloppy conditions??

How do they drift, how do they sit at anchor?

How are they built? Any major concerns? Any real strong positives?

They are a Calvin Beal design, which means they are a very good boat. When I spoke with Calvin back in '08, he said the MC's were very similar to his CB line. So based off that, I would say the 37' MC would be a sweet DE boat. The Calvin Beal designs are stable, efficient, fast, haul a lot of weight, and kick butt. They are skeg built, so will not be as soft heading into a head-sea as a built down hull like the Flowers/Lowell Brothers/Duffy. I would not hesitate to get any boat that Calvin Beal designed. If it's a fair price and the size you are looking for, you would be crazy not to buy it.
