I've fished a lot out of Manasquan Inlet when i lived further north then where i am now , narrow and a ripping tide and not far up the river from the inlet is a draw bridge for a train and boy you ought to see the pile up that creates during the summer . Now i fish out of Barnagat Inlet to the south , much wider but can be a handfull at times . Came very close to rolling my boat once on a broach .

You guys wouldn't want it see the Copper River flats where i used to gillnet. No channel markers, jetties except for a "whistler" buoy about 2 miles offshore from the hole in the beach we ran through. There are 5 of the holes to get in/out of and 3 of the 5 just scared the shit out of me and i never went in or out of those. I don't miss that place at all.
