Im guessing this is a build that was never completed from the information the seller has posted. For 65k hey not a damn bad way to go. Another 20k and imo your set to go do whatever one would desire.

40k? For a 38' Young Brothers? He's got 65k into it plus his labor, plus he's got some electronics and hydraulics with it. He left it that way so it could be finished off the way the next owner wanted it. Would you be insulted if it was your boat and someone offered you 40k for it? Lets get real guys. Everyone has alot of opinions but I don't see too many coming up with the cash. Is he hiding something? I have pictures he sent me. The cabin needs to be painted and the boat finished off. He is one of the most successful charter boat Captains on the Cape and his family has been in the fishing industry for decades. This was going to be his boat but circumstances changed.
